To reach the port of Ilulissat in late July, ships may have to navigate through the treacherous remnants of ice floes from the nearby glacier. Once we waited until morning to dock.

♫ Inna - Magical Love ♫

I knew what I saw, you, you will be mine

You're not an angel but you're divine

I try to move forward, you make me rewind

Maybe that's the magic of love

When you use your powers, I can not decline

Take one look into my eyes and read my mind

I try to move forward, you make me rewind

Baby, that's the magic of love

Baby, that's the magic of love

Baby, that's the magic of love

(Maybe, maybe

Maybe that's the magic of love

Maybe, maybe

Maybe that's the magic of love)

This is an overview of how the backwaters interconnect. The backwaters are made up of lakes, rivers and canals. The boats that provide transportation are found in all shapes and sizes. The large boat is one of the house boats made from an old rice barge. Very clever transformation I would say. And now tourists flock to Kerala for an overnight stay on a houseboat.

I see this amazing raccoon a few times a year on the hillside behind my house and in the lightly wooded areas off the meadows. I've seen her with kits in the spring leading them to watering holes and heard raccoons screaming and bickering in the night....a sound that you don't easily forget. At this time of year, I begin to see raccoon tracks in the snow. So far, her one-eyed blindness has not seemed to hold her back from a very capable life in the wild. I'm sure the fact that raccoons are quite intelligent helps her out as well.

A view of the San Antonio River Walk outside the Marriott River Center hotel. The River Walk is a world-renowned 15-mile urban waterway. Also known as Paseo del Río, the River Walk is a San Antonio treasure and the largest urban ecosystem in the nation. Tucked quietly below street level, it provides a serene and pleasant way to navigate the city by foot or aboard a river barge for a ride and guided tour.

The River Walk winds and loops under bridges as two parallel sidewalks lined with restaurants and shops, connecting the major tourist draws including:

▪ The Shops at Rivercenter, an upscale downtown mall;

▪ Arneson River Theater, an outdoor performance theater;

▪ Marriage Island, an islet in the middle of the San Antonio River on the River Walk that is used for weddings;

▪ La Villita, an historic arts village;

▪ HemisFair Park, the site of the 1968 World's Fair;

▪ Tower Life Building, a late Gothic Revival skyscraper on the National Register of Historic Places;

▪ San Antonio Museum of Art;

▪ Pearl, the historic former Pearl Brewing Company; and

▪ San Antonio's five Spanish colonial missions, which have been named a World Heritage Site, including the Alamo.

San Antonio is the seat of Bexar County. With an estimated population of 1,547,253 in 2019, it is the seventh-most populous city in the United States. The metro population is 2,550,960, making it the 24th largest metro area in the nation.

This is technical rock-crawling. It's very slow and requires the discipline of a skilled driver. The trail is quite visible, look for the lighter colored rock lines.

The Santa María Caravel, is a 95% exact replica of the one that Christopher Columbus navigated to the Americas.

It's the world's second in exactitude, standing the first in Barcelona, Spain.

The ship is 23 mts long and 8,50 mts. wide, with an approximate height of 7 mts.

It' wholly made of wood with structure of “quebracho” wood and laterally plated with “urunday” boards.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqd0VDgMt30Ordinary World

Song by Duran Duran

Lyrics

Came in from a rainy Thursday on the avenue

Thought I heard you talking softly

I turned on the lights, the TV, and the radio

Still, I can't escape the ghost of you

What has happened to it all?

Crazy, some'd say

Where is the life that I recognize?

(Gone away)

But I won't cry for yesterday

There's an ordinary world

Somehow I have to find

And as I try to make my way

To the ordinary world

I will learn to survive

Passion or coincidence

Once prompted you to say

"Pride will tear us both apart"

Well now pride's gone out the window

Cross the rooftops

Run away

Left me in the vacuum of my heart

What is happening to me?

Crazy, some'd say

Where is my friend when I need you most?

(Gone away)

But I won't cry for yesterday

There's an ordinary world

Somehow I have to find

And as I try to make my way

To the ordinary world

I will learn to survive

Ooh-ooh-ooh, ah-ah

Oh, yeah, oh

Papers in the roadside

Tell of suffering and greed

Fear today, forgot tomorrow

Ooh, here besides the news

Of holy war and holy need

Ours is just a little sorrowed talk

And I don't cry for yesterday

There's an ordinary world

Somehow I have to find

And as I try to make my way

To the ordinary world

I will learn to survive

Every world

Is my world (I will learn to survive)

Any world

Is my world (I will learn to survive)

Any world

Is my world

Every world

Is my world
